Ole miss is up 20 on South Carolina. If Ole Miss wins, South Carolina is the 4 seed and they'll be our opponent in round 2 assuming we beat the winner of Miss St/LSU. Perfect bracket for us

No but you never know if he loves NBA or not. Plus the Thunder job isn't nearly as attractive now compared to when he took it + neither is his success levels

If a school like Indiana called, he would have to at least consider it. I actually think it would be a great place for him.

Can't I just have hope

That should be our new slogan. Instead of #BuckleUp we'll start saying #AllHopeIsGone

If IU fires Crean, it will be one of the best coach openings of all time. Not only is it "Indiana," IU should return a final four caliber roster for 2017-18 in both talent + experience
Billy Donovan would have to take it seriously unless he really is done with college. Unlike say Brad Stevens whose got a great future in Boston, Donovan doesn't have a clear path to the top in a mid size market

Bama will be much improved in 17-18 but Arkansas will make the Dance this year and probably gets better. Vandy is on fire and gelling under Drew's coaching and are a rising bubble team. Howland will have State better, Auburn will be better and is a year ahead of us in rebuilding. UF and UK aren't going away. I think USC takes a step back. UGA is a mystery to me as is UT. Missouri and LSU will have new coaches and I don't know what to make of aTm. Ole Miss is the same middling team they have been under Kennedy. The SEC could easily get 6 in next year IMO.
We need to wreck shite early next year in the non con part of the schedule as the league will be a meat grinder next year. I'm torn between risking taking on some big names and hope to beat them or scheduling a bunch of mediocre teams to boost the win total because the SEC will be so much tougher.

Well we already know we play Texas at home. Hopefully they'll at least be decent so it'll look good if we can manage to win. Then I'd like to schedule someone like Virginia or like someone else mentioned before, Florida State. The reason I say Virginia is bc they play low scoring while next year we'll try to score a lot more. It would just be an interesting test to see where we are and it would definitely be a good win if we could pull it off.

Everyone is blaming the wrong person. This loss is 100% on Busey. The slack-jaw didn't even show up to the thread today. It's all his fault.
Better be glad I didn't even watch the game. Just looking at the score at halftime and knowing we would blow it somehow made my butt hole pucker.

am glad I did not see one minute of game. I am already butt hurt over the way the second half of the SEC games went. Didn't the same thing happen last year. We got our hopes up being on the proverbial bubble then could not close. Reminds me of a MS coached FB teamm

It really is a poor run to finish the season. UGA without Maten, TAMU, and UT were all winnable games both on paper and late in the game.

You really have to question your sanity if you continuously take 2-2 1/2 hours out of your day just to watch Alabama build your hopes up, then punch you right in the balls in the end.

One positive I'll throw out there is that none of the rebuilding teams that recently changed coaches is ahead of us. Miss State, Auburn, UT, and us are all more or less in the same position.

I think Auburn is one year ahead of us in terms of talent, but we'll have equal or more talent compared to State and Tennessee.
I really think it would be smart to bring in another former coach as an assistant next year.

Watching 7A state championship. Trendon Watford is a must have for Bama. He's only a sophomore
Pettway has been recruiting him and he has an offer. Still early in the recruiting process, but crystal ball has him at 100%. Someone needs to test the waters down in Mt Brook, because Bucky McMillan is getting a bunch of white boys to win state titles in basketball. Albeit, it is 7A.
