I shouldn't have joined twitter last year. People tried to warn me but I didn't listen. Now I have to see just how stupid part of our fanbase is.

Yes, next year we can start judging. This year we have wide open shots and can't hit them. Nothing we can do about it

Love Avery and hope he gets it together and I think he will. Some of the dumb stuff this team does or doesn't do is very concerning though. Things that good coaches fix. Hopefully he will.

I'm excited about next year. If we don't see improvement then I could see the seat warning.

That Saban dude gets by ...by having a ton of talent. So brubg in the five stars Avery !

I think in today's world you cant wait to pull the trigger. Grant stayed a least one year too long. Avery seems to be in the right direction and I would be surprised if we don't make the dance next year

Can't wait to have a PG that knows what he is doing running the show and setting up plays.

And a one/two that can create his own shot. Petty/Sexton.

Everyone is blaming the wrong person. This loss is 100% on Busey. The slack-jaw didn't even show up to the thread today. It's all his fault.

Sexton is a 1 or 2. Petty is a big 2 or a 3.

Yep. If we can't win with sexton petty and key then something's wrong. We should be top 3 with UK and UF next year.

Yeah next year there's no excuses. Our excuse this year is we don't have any consistent shooters. That's exactly what Sexton and Petty should be. None of the 6 new players should be as bad as what we have. We should easily make the tourney. Don't wanna be on the bubble again come toutney time next year. If we can finish #5 this year with this group, we should finish top 3 next year. We almost beat Kentucky and Florida and didn beat SC with these players. We should at least compete for the SEC next year.

Yea, if the players coming in develop, then we shouldn't be anywhere near the bubble. I would love to be a 7 or lower in the NCAA tournament

Also, if y'all are interested in doing something to get ur mind off of this loss, a guy made some high school teams on 2K and he made Collin Sexton's team, Pebblebrook. Just used him and scored 40 and 58 points back to back

Here's how you set it up

Can someone tell me the difference in John Petty's game and Herb Jones. I haven't watched a lot of film but what I have watched, they are very similar. I know one is a 5 star and one is a 3 or 4 star. Jones just seems to be very underrated to me.

I would be cautious using this as a barometer for next year for a couple reasons

1- 6/10 wins came against seeds #12-14 and 8/18 games came against #11-14. The schedule next year will be significantly more difficult

2- The SEC is expected to be MUCH better in 17-18. Next year in the SEC, ~9/13 other teams are expected to return 4+ starters next year. For comparison, this year (16-17) only 5/13 teams returned 3+ starters this year

Watching 7A state championship. Trendon Watford is a must have for Bama. He's only a sophomore

ETA: the Elmore kid is dropping bombs from deep.

Watford will be an interesting recruitment. Calipari has already gone to visit while Auburn/AL should both make compelling cases after next years season.

That's before you even consider he is an Indiana legacy from his brother

Indiana has some big decisions to make. First, will they dump their coach? Second, who will they go after as a replacement?

None of those really matter with Watford. The coaching situation was the first thing I thought about

I'd bet they end up with Archie Miller but

Indiana fans pipe dream for Brad Stevens as it was his "dream job." There is talk OT bringing in former IU star Alford from UCLA but I don't think enough support on IU end of even if they could pull it

Tony Stevens at UVA had rejected IU before but that was when they had sanctions. Hard to say if he'd be able to pull but big B10 ties /family

Kevin Keats is the up and comer that would get a look

Gregg Marshall if he decides to not be a dick in interviews

Billy Donovan may look back at the CBB game
