Rumors are swirling Jaylen Forbes is about to enter the portal as a GT. I hope Nate is all over him for that 13th spot

With Nelson and if we get Stevenson who both play the 4 we will still need a backup center.

Nothing puts you at ease quite like Twatts.

I think Nelson gonna play a lot of center he's gonna be our biggest player at 6'11 235.
On offense he will play outside the 3 point line a lot. He's not your typical stay-in-the-paint big guy at all, he can handle the ball and is a solid shooter, really good at driving to the basket, and we'll take advantage of that. On defense when he is in the game he will probably be guarding the other teams 5 and/or protecting the rim.

Grant Nelson's game is more suited that way. He has a little bit of Kristaps Porzingis in him.

Yeah on offense we can play can more positionless like in the NBA. Jokic is a center and for sure plays center on defense but on offense he has the ball in his hands a lot of the time, facilitating, and shooting threes, as well as being able to do stuff a center can do. With Nelson and Quinerly we could run a lot of stuff the Nuggets run with Jokic and Jamal Murray.
Not saying Nelson is close to Jokic just that having a center that can pass, dribble, and shoot like Nelson can should really open up our offense and create a lot of space and driving lanes for our guards.

Obviously we've speculated. But has him, or his dad, said in an interview what the NBA wants to see from him, on both sides of the ball? Offense, i think it's easier to guess. But on defense, it could be multiple ways just a easily.

Yeah he goes into that a bit here in this short interview from when he worked out with the Pacers. Says he wants to get more consistent from three, get stronger, and prove he can play well vs tougher competition.
Youtube
Mainly he just needs to show he can go to a conference like the SEC and still play really well, which I think he can and will. He scored 17 points vs Arkansas last year in his first game of the season.

Huggins was arrested last night in Pittsburgh for DUI, very near the Taylor Swift concert. He was in Ohio recruiting. He’s likely gone, after everything else that’s happened.

Bob Huggins, WVU head coach

I definitely wouldn't mind Raequan Battle for the 13th scholarship. Doubt he'd be interested with how crowded our backcourt is, but he's a shutdown defensive presence that we currently don't have at the wing/guard position.

Does WVU have any decent big men?

After the past few months, it seems as if he has been actively wanting to get fired for some odd reason. It doesn't seem like any successful individual with an IQ over 80 could be this dense... but I guess I'm wrong.
