I still just don't get the appeal of Memphis. Like, does Bates really need the money Penny is arranging for him to be paid? frick no. He will make that and then some in endorsements. So why go play for a dude who has proven he can't coach or develop players when you could go play for Izzo.
Not sure. But if they're not coming to Bama, I love seeing wasted talent. Especially if we have them on the schedule.

Great news!!!! As I said a couple of weeks ago give me Walker, Bradley, another solid top 100 guy like Rodney Rice, 3 good transfers and I'd be ecstatic.

Jalen Duren committed to Memphis by the way. I am just glad he didnt go to Kentucky. Memphis could have 5, 5 star players and still wouldn't make the sweet 16 imo, not worried about them,

We Offered probably the best player in Juco, 6'7 G Deshawndre Washington. He averaged 27 points and 14 reboubds per game last year and was the 2021 NJCAA DII Player of the Year.

Memphis should be way better coached this season because of Larry Brown. That is if Penny stays out of the way.
