I'm back to my same prediction from the last 8 years, 22-10, 10-8, #8 seed.

Has anyone in here said they expect anything from him other than being a good rebounder and shot blocker?
Some people think he could be in the starting lineup. I used to think it was a possibility.
And he was much closer to Carl than Jimmy today.

You meed to watch some of his highlights. Could carl engstrom his a three in game? Bediako can. Bediako is a good free throw shooter too unlike most 7 foot guys. His shooting ability separates him from the guys you mentioned and it will only continue to get better.

If we go 22-10 with our schedule we are a 4 or 5 seed

You are reading too much into these games. Bediako will be just fine here shoot I watched Canada vs Spain and I knew exactly why Coach Oats and company were excited about Bediako! He will be a SHOT BLOCKER, REBOUNDER, & RIM RUNNER for us as a FRESHMAN!
"You are reading too much into these games" and then proceeds to overreact to one game.
I think Bediako is a project, but I've thought that ever since watching him. He's tall and long, but isn't overly athletic. The best I'll hope for from him his freshman year is solid rebounding and decent shot-blocking. He has a good frame to build on, but I've never been super high on the guy. I always preferred Wilson over him because of his athleticism and much more fluid mobility. Having said that, I know Oats is a smarter man than I so I'll assume I was wrong with that analysis.
Right now, unless Tchikou is ready to go, I'd guess Gurley is our 5 and Gary is our 4.

He hurt it in the playoffs so it was playoff time the next year when it had been a year, and that was the bubble season and his team didnt play in the bubble anyway. So he sat out til the start of this season, he was still playing in the offseason though.
Ahhh yea that makes sense.

I think the biggest difference between Tchikou and Bediako is that Tchikou was a basketball player and then got hugely tall. I think Bediako got hugely tall and then someone told him to become a basketball player.
The gap in their offensive skillset is enormous.

Did you watch the video I posted a few posts up with Bediako making threes? Thoughts? I never saw Engstrom, Jimmy Taylor, or Gueye make a three.

Oral Roberts transfer Kevin Obanor has cut his list to the following programs, per his Twitter page:

Oklahoma
Florida
Texas Tech
Creighton
Maryland
Illinois

We made the list.

I will take Obanor over Shack
Posted on 7/10/21 at 6:31 pm to mistaken4193
I would too. I am worried Obanor is gonna go to Ark, Muss recruited him at Nevada, and Oral Roberts and Nevada were his final 2 schools I read.
I would love to get him but anywhere but Arkansas would be great too.

Gueye
Totally random, unrelated item I found out while looking up some old player stats a few days ago.
When Gueye was at Bama, we would have been better off if we could have declined fouls and just kept the ball. He was 40% or so at the line.
Guy goes to Valpo, becomes a starter, and shoots 80% from the line. It wasn't a situation like Herb where he improved over a couple of years. He went from 40% to 80% the very next season. How does that even happen?

JD
JQ
Keon
Obanor
Gurley
That would be the best starting 5 in the SEC IMO

Oklahoma beat writers say they used their 13th scholorship the other day and are full, so unless they are wrong it will probably be TT then.
