So we between Quinerly,Sears,Miller,Griffin,Burnett,Welch we are not going to have any real shooters? I would venture to add that at least two of them will come good in a given game
when all of them get to play some and are healthy.

Ive been longing for a 15 pts 12 rebounds guy in the Melvin Cheatam/Erwin Dudly mold for many years.

It appears as if we have a couple of them this year. These youngsters can smash the boards.

We're gonna get a real peak at what to expect when they step on the court with Michigan St.!

In the past, we'd often have 3 players on the floor that could shoot 3s, so it wasn't hard to free one up for a good look, but I'm not so sure about this bunch...we'll see.

What I love so far with this team is when we have terrible shooting nights, which will frequently happen, the way our guys aggressively attack the glass, gives us a chance for a big season.

They play a lot of players in these early season games.
Hopefully he will reduce the number of players and cut some of the sloppy play, and bad shooting. But it does look like defense and rebounding can keep us in the game on off shooting nights. We were so bad at rebounding last year, it was hard to watch.

One thing that got to a ridiculous point last season was the insane amount of turnovers.

Didn't get to watch live, but on the highlight video they showed Quinnerly coming in and he turned it over almost immediately. Hopefully it's less of an issue with the new guys.

Miller and Sears are both shooting over 40% from 3. JQ and Welch have not played or have played very little. Nimari is still working the rust off but Oats is very confident about his shooting.
