Kind of a moot point without knowing exactly what any player anywhere is making.

However, I'd guess that we have a solid NIL budget but not the kind where we could say pay 1 player triple what the rest of the roster gets and then have the funds to also raise returning starters like Philon, Sherrell etc.

I promoted rock shows for years. It's one thing to have 2 bands agreed and add 3 more that make less money. If you add one that the others don't see as that much bigger than them you can't pay them more without nogotiating with all of the rest again.
