to AU and then take one player from AU. Who you giving and who are you taking. It needs to be a position of likeness. A big for a big or a guard for a guard.

Jarin to AU for Broome.

I agree but Jarin did have a decent game on both ends of the floor last week. Don’t mind the emotional superfans. It’s like insulting their daddy when you present a “just for fun”hypothetical about a Bama player.

I'm not saying Broome can't do it but I wonder how he would handle playing in Alabama's style. Auburn gives him more opportunities on the block in their flex screen offense. He can either attempt to get a shot over the defender or pass to a shooter or cutter. Alabama's offense is more guard ball-dominant with a five-out offense. I've seen Broome do it some but I don't think his game is well suited to taking his man off the dribble from the arc.

How does that affect his defense too? You'd almost make the trade you describe just to get another big who can rebound and protect the rim...but does an ill-suited offensive fit lead to him being less engaged in the ball game?

Just something to chew on...

Obviously, it would be Max Scharnowski for Johni Broome.

Pack it up. Let’s go home.

I did. And Max for Broome is definitely the right answer. If you can give Jarin (a forward) for Broome then why can’t we give Max (a forward) for Broome?

Can I play?

I want Mark Sears for JPP. JPP has been such a bust that Denver Jones had to be moved from his original, and best, spot (2) to the 1. Tahaad Pettiford is fantastic but Auburn could really use him better as an off the bench type scorer and backup 1.

No you can’t play, Auburn does not need to improve.
