Something I’ve noticed about JM4

So, disclaimer; I’ve never thought Jalen was great, but love his attitude and athleticism. I’ve been in the middle of pro and anti Milroe. That’s said, tonight I noticed something. The first half of the Georgia game, and all night tonight; he is checking down to the drags to the tight end and running backs. These are your safer man beater routes, when he is hitting those I think it’s a sign he isn’t playing hero ball. It also opens his running game when a backer or safety comes out of the box to cover the TE or RB. The Jalen hitting those check downs is a really good QB. In the TN game and really even the South Carolina game, I can’t recall one of those plays. Something else of note, they are also almost always on a third and short to go.
