Something else to consider with Golding.

It was rumored he had some off field family issue going on. That can mean a lot of different things. Either way, I'm sure it played a role and affected the job. Perhaps, he solved that issue and Saban feels that Golding can get it done with a healthy defense and him (Golding) being able to focus 100% on the task at hand.

That was a rumor from Boz, and he is 100% full of shite.

The "Sports Director" at the local CBS affiliate?

Yeah, he knows less than we do.

His guess could be right, though. We could keep Pete, the Golding's Groupies on this forum can celebrate and make out, and we'll lose 2 or 3 games, again, next year, and enjoy the Citrus Bowl, again, while watching 4 other teams in the CFP.

I know what will happen. You know what will happen. Golding's Groupies know what will happen. Nick Saban knows what will happen.

I mean unless he has some embarrassing photos of Nick Saban, no way he's staying... unless it's in some other capacity. As for me, I'd have him banned from campus and wouldn't even let him be a custodian in a different building. But, if Nick wants to make him H20 Quality Control Specialist, I wouldn't like it, but I'd give Nick this one.

^whinny and thinks he knows more than Nick Saban.

Alabama fans are awesome!

I know for a fact it wasn't a rumor. My stepdad was once engaged to Golding's mom.

Except I was the one who pointed out the insider information on the topic was bullshite and have been right about the situation the entire time.

And I have 0 inside information.

You guys are just fueled by your own ignorance and don't want to admit it was the offense that caused our losses this year.

I hate feeling like I'm playing both ends against the middle but the defense was bad because they couldn't get lined up in time, tackled poorly, and didn't play with the VERY familiar Alabama physicality and toughness. Something that has been a DNA feature of every championship team we have had under coach Saban.

Watching our offense score a ton of points doesn't begin to explain what is ailing our defense.

What?

I didn't say anything about his wife.

I just know there is some things in his family that he probably is distracted by.

You think we lost because our offense scored a ton of points?

Take a look at our last 3 losses.

vs Clemson - 1 pick six and the offense could not score the entire 2nd half. The offense couldn't do shite and the entire 2nd half basically ended with every drive as a turnover on downs.

vs LSU - QB fumbles the ball inside the 10 yard line rather than score without being touched. Late in the 1st half while down by 13 and 15 seconds left on the clock, the QB throws an interception and then our center gets a personal foul on the interception return setting LSU up in the redzone to take a 20 point lead going into the half. Lose the game by 5 and it's the defenses fault.

15 fricking seconds left in the half and throws a pick to give them the ball in our own redzone. How in the frick does that happen and all anyone harps on is the defense? You can't get much worse of a play than that.

vs Auburn - QB throws 2 pick sixes in a 3 point loss and still you guys managed to find a way to blame the defense for the 3 point loss.

But I guess this explains why some of you are so damn wrong on the topic, you don't see the truth about the offense, you just see the good plays and think it somehow makes up for it. As if turnovers in the sport are just not a big deal. Yeah, lets not blame the basically 28 points the offense basically gifted those teams in the loses, lets instead blame the injury depleted defense playing a bunch of freshman and the DC instead.

It's really fricking stupid.

Not a chance in hell. Boz has slandered(or libel since it's in print before someone mentions that) the frick out of many people here. From Tua's dad when his Tua information turned out to be bullshite, to Golding and others with his bullshite rumors.

Someone needs to stand up to it, and it just so happens those are the fights I like.

Yep.

I'm also the guy that goes and helps people while everyone else watches.

Feels good. Hate on me for it - feels even better.

I talked to my stepdad about Golding once the rumors of him having family issues came up. He confirmed there are some things in Golding's family that would cause him to become distracted. I'm not going to post them on a message board, but they are legit.

No, I don't. And the quote you replied from explains in detail what the problem was. Provided you are comprehending the obvious today.

Gosh, I'm pretty sure you are way too hip and cool to be on my side. I'm just an internet loser who has nothing better to do than stick up for stupid shite on a forum.
