Wow. That Oklahoma pitcher was a tough match up. I've only seen her the one time but she seems on another level.

We wont get their Ace in the 1st game unless they have the lead after 5 innings.
I imagine Montana will pitch tonight and will be saved for tommorow night so it will be on Cornell/Goodman in game 1 tommorow......assuming we get there.

Cornell was far from perfect tonight. We are lucky they did not score more. She went deep to a lot of batters and seemed to give up the lead off batter in the first 4 innings. She had over 120 pitches in 5 innings. With that said it was the best game she has pitched in a while.
Bats were huge tonight and the D played good. I think our 3rd base person is the only one who had a bad night at the plate.

yes but in the two weeks prior to that she was all over the place and saw her ERA double. And tonight she will have 3 earned runs in 5 innings which will further in crease the ERA. At one point all 3 of our good pitchers were around 1 on the ERA and now Goodman has the lowest with Cornell way over 2. Probably going to be closer to 2.4 after today. We were fortunate that UF is a weak hitting team outside of 3-4 batters.

I was just joking around.
I don't think that Fouts has been great for the past few weeks. Seems like she's been starting slow.
Also, I'd like to say that Oklahoma State has the best looking relief pitchers in softball. Those girls look good

we got 3 girls that are close to a 10..RF, LF, and Fouts. OUr C is pretty also. We have a few in the dugout that are not bad.

the UW pitcher is carrying a lot of beef. That has to be a wear on the body from a stamina standpoint if you throw a lot of pitches
