However, you someone can't handle pressure they really shouldn't come to Alabama. It has been this way for a long time. If you earn it, the fans give you more love than any other fan base. But you'll be held accountable if you don't earn it. And the high expectations aren't the fans being fans. Saban's whole attitude is never be satisfied. Bear Bryant told Freshman that he expects nothing less than a National Championship.

It's just football, it ultimately doesn't matter. But if boos really upset a guy that much he probably shouldn't be at Bama. Not because it hurts Bama to have him, but because it'll only hurt him more. It's never gonna change, and it really shouldn't either. If less than the best is accepted, well, you get less than the best. I wouldn't want my son to have an A one semester and a C the next.

I'm sure some will take what I'm saying as malicious or will be upset by it, maybe I could've worded it better to make the point clearer, I don't know. But if it's really gonna bother him he should probably leave the team after this season because I don't want him to get depressed over football. Especially considering he's been through way worse in his childhood.

I don't think the boos are people being unappreciative. Sure there are some out there who probably curse the guy's name, but I really think it just boils down to a constant reminder to do better. I haven't booed him, though I usually flip my shite over bad plays. That said it normally subsides after 30 seconds.

Meh. Bottom line, don't boo your own players in the stands. Period. It's a really bad look, solves nothing, and possibly even makes things worse.

Sometimes I wonder if the Kick 6 really fricked with his head.

Speaking as a previous kicker, that's not something you just forget. Especially with the weight of the iron bowl. I imagine he still has flash backs about it.

We should prove a point to Griffith by punting from inside of the OM 10.

3rd and goal from the eight... Call in JK to pin them inside their five.

Griffith made a 46 yarder in the Georgia state championship game his senior year and then made a 32 yarder in OT to win that game. He was the #1 rated kicker by 247 and Scout, and the #2 rated kicker by Rivals. Everything in his background suggested that he had not only the physical ability but the psychological ability as well. Making a kick in OT in a state championship game is about the most pressure a HS kicker is going to face.

So why has he not been as successful at Alabama? Who knows. Everything in his HS career pointed to a successful college career.

If he is not sucessful tomorrow and we get less than top flight qb play, and lose the game I would be for bringing in the true freshman and playing for the future.

Is there any reason we don't let JK Scott kick?
I know he's had his issues too, punting, but his high school reel is insane.
72 yarder missed by about 3 feet, perfectly centered
