You guys seriously think these players value who starts over losing (outright getting embarrassed) and watching their draft stock plummet?

These guys have an overinflated opinion of their draft status. Just like their superfan surrogates.

You need literal help if you’re defending that assclown. He’s the worst quarterback in modern Alabama football.

There you go, get it out of your system. Show me on the doll where Jalen Milroe hurt you

You have to have some glue to hold things together and this roster has way too little. These group as a hold quits when things get difficult.

It will be interesting to see how long the wealthy Bama supporters continue to send their money to support the program.

And they don’t care about the brand like fans do.

Well I have a question for those that say Saban and DeBoer would ALWAYS play the QB that gives them the best chance to win. What makes you so sure they will make that decision to change? We all lived through the Jalen Hurts situation at Bama. Saban was so enamored with Jalen’s character and demeanor that he overlooked his warts to the point it cost us one natty and almost cost us another.
I have watched Billy Napier play Graham Mertz and lose to the point that he was near being fired. Then Mertz got hurt and Billy was forced to play D J Lagway. Florida has been a tremendously improved team since then. So why did it take the injury to force a change?
I think most coaches are loathe to make a change at QB for a number of reasons, one of which is admitting you got it wrong. Then you face questions of why you didn’t do it sooner if it works, or why did you do it if it doesn’t work out. You’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
Maybe Simpson is not a good QB and the coaches know it or maybe they are scared to make a change. But at this juncture, I think you need to make a change, just for change sake and to send the message to Milroe and everyone else on that team that you are not entitled to a starting position just because you have been starting. If you don’t perform, you don’t play.
And I think Simpson has at least earned a chance to prove himself on a level playing field. Throw out the USF game from last year; whether the mutiny story is true or not, Jalen Milroe didn’t fare much better against USF this year until the 4th quarter.

The inmates have been running the asylum since the beginning of last year.
