This is so tiresome. People don't personally dislike Milroe. People criticize Milroe's play because his play has consistently been poor. His defenders have spent all season rationalizing and coming up with conspiracy theories as to why not everyone can see his greatness. It's time to acknowledge that he's just a very limited quarterback.

Yep, but some want to try and play the silent race card even though we've had one white guy start within our last 5 QB's.

Milroe
Young
Jones
Tua
Hurts

Actually every time he threw a slant this year the throw was on the money

I remember one to Burton. I remember several other crossing that required the receiver to adjust to make the catch

I think Milroe has an issue with horizontal plays. Deep vertical seam / outs pretty good. There are some exceptions mind you but horizontal routes have to squatting or climbing a ladder/ reaching back or such to be completed let's get the center issues worked out and get another off season.
I will give Jalen credit for his improvements on INts I thought he was going to be a TO machine but he took much better care of the ball...and that went a long way to Bama getting to Pasadena

he day Saban hired a guy his school didn’t want was the day I knew the GOAT was getting tired

Most of the fanbase thought Kiffin was a bad hire when he was hired. Saban knows who to hire more than the fans do.

Sarkisian was also controversial, especially after his terrible second half in the 2017 CFPNCG

He doesn't play to his qb's strengths

I still have yet to see someone to list his strengths. You can coach up what you have.

No pre snap ability to read the defense
No pocket presence
No short pass
No mid range pass
No vision or awareness on the run
Tunnel vision for first option only
Cannot feel pressure
Always looking for the big TD throw with open WR elsewhere

So maybe lets see how the OC does if Milroe can improve or another QB gets the job.

Sark, etc can get players half as talented as Milroe and Ty Simpson to be big time...just by scheming

Do y’all not remember how limited our O was in the Clemson game with a freshman Hurts? Sark was the guy calling that game. Then the Georgia game with Daboll the very next year. When a QB is severely limited, you can’t scheme what you want. You have to roll with what the guy is capable of doing. Remember how it looked like a totally different offense when Tua came in for the second half?
I wish we could run some of those gimme plays like the quick WR screens we were so effective with under Kiffin or Sark, but accuracy is necessary for them to be successful.
