Nope.

Had an outpatient surgery scheduled for today so they tested her for it at her pre-op appointment. Came back positive.

Moody police officer shot at Super 8 motel in Moody. They’ve called in officers from the surrounding areas. Not sure if it’s protest related. You can hear a helicopter in the background.

Jefferson county, St. Clair county, Trussville, Moody, Pell City, Leeds, Riverside, Ragland all have officers on the scene. Might be more places than that.

Robbing pawn shops of guns and actively shooting cops is not reason enough to be prepared?

Is there a pawn shop at city hall?

Couldn't leave the guys dressed for battle back at the precinct? There were more members of the media there than protesters.

There’s a good chance that they get called away from city hall and won’t have time to put on the proper gear. Why don’t you go and tell them how they should dress?

I bet if it were you or your parents, you wouldn’t want them to have to take the time to dress properly.

Highway 11 is full of police. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen anything like it.

Every single photo you posted of cops escorting people from the premises shows them in their normal uniform.

Why focus on the other three?

ETA: I just looked at this photo more closely:

I know you road surveyors don't get much action when it comes to potential law enforcement issues, but let me explain it to you.

Those 30 officers you see in regular uniforms are there to do their job. The other 6 in combat gear are there to protect their co-workers in case of a violent situation occurring.

That's why you don't see the six "tooled up" officers detaining anyone. That's not what they are there for.

But please continue to criticize things you know absolutely nothing about. After all, it's your Constitutional right.

So the helmet is the part you consider overdressed?
