Its not sustainable for anyone but Texas schools, Oregon, and Ohio State.
Those schools will be able to live in Fantasy world where they can just buy any player they want to. The rest of us will have to keep recruiting the elite HS kids( we can still afford them) and RETAINING THEM.
Roster retention is gonna be the biggest key for us going forward if we wanna stay near the top. We can afford the elite HS kids, we can't the elite portal ones

Proctor probably ends up there at the next level if he doesn’t get his conditioning right, doesn’t mean you can convince them of it when half the schools in America will promise them whatever they want to transfer.

Agreed. I would be absolutely stunned if he came back. I don't know this but I would think his doctors have urged him to give up football.
