In all honesty, we don't know if Oats was telling JQ to take the lane if it was open to speed up the game due to the defense/offense SDS plays. Only the team knows that.

I do however that whichever the case, fault Oats for not changing the game/approach after about the 6th blocked shot/missed layup.

There's no excuse for that. I told my wife after about the 5th missed 3 in a row that it just wasn't our night shooting the ball and we needed to pound it inside to Chuck/Pringle/Clowney.

He’s frustrating to watch a turnover machine at point guard and always has been. hopefully Sears is back and Bradley improves his jump shot.
Sorry, but Sears is no point guard.

Quinerly getting to the rim saved us in a few games this year. He won us the Auburn game at home doing it. Tried to save us in this one but it obviously didn’t work.

He should have adjusted after the first couple blocks and decided to kick it back out or dish it underneath. #31 killed us.

Felt like we were robbed of an epic comeback tbh. Down 2 pts with 45 seconds to go our players should know not to foul so blatantly. Also even down 4 with around 30 seconds left that ball went out of bounds on 31...not Sears.

It probably will be his last game for Alabama, but I hope not. You should be more concerned about who can play point guard for us next year. I dont see one without JQ.
