I'll give coaching a bit of a break due to the massive change(s) that went on with the program. You had the greatest college football coach of all time abruptly retire and then a mass exodus of experienced players left. Though we still had "a lot" of talent the once stable football environment was massively shaken up. With any type of coaching change comes growing pains, but this wasn't a normal coaching change. This was the GOAT leaving and shocking everybody. The new staff coming in had a lot more things to deal with than with a normal coaching change.

Yeah, that too. It was apparent as the year went on Sheridan wasn't an OC. But I also have to factor in how hamstrung he was with Milroe's limitations. Much like Tommy Rees, there's only so much he could call.
