Ohio St. could cancel the rest of their season and still make the playoffs. Everyone loves their young couch and fields would win the Heisman

You just described the history of the Heisman. They were trying to explain how worthy Trask is as a candidate on the Nation last night and a number of sports guys on other networks are quick to say he just isn't as talented as Fields and Lawrence. Which, really isn't the point.
But neither is blind stats. For example, they've been comparing Trask TD stats with Tua lately and that is so skewed it's ridiculous. Tua seldom played a 4th quarter game and often came out after the first drive or so in the second half in a lot of his games. Otherwise, Tua would have historic numbers that might never be reached at Bama. Not to that same degree but Mac has been giving way to Bryce for a lot of the 4th quarter this season. Other QBs keep the petal to the metal. So much gets lost in the wash of stats.

That firm's name? Ned Bergeron & Associates. When reached for comment, no one could understand a goddamn word they said.

- Trusted sources tell Dawgs247 that JT Daniels was once again getting the first-team reps at quarterback today. That makes roughly five or six practices in a row that he has primarily gotten the first-team reps. Once source tells Dawgs247 that he has definitely gotten better and sharper with more work with the first team offense. With that said, Stetson Bennett IV and D'Wan Mathis also looked good with the first-team offense in practice in previous weeks. It's all about getting it to translate to the football field on Saturday. Right now, it's looking like Daniels will get his chance to put it on display in a few days.
