This. Beating UGA would have been close to 0.6 WAB while beating Ole Miss will be like 0.2 or something close to that. On the current rankings, 0.6 would jump us 4 spots to right behind FL at #7, even in front of MSU. Having MSU lose to UCLA would help a lot too. We aren’t jumping them on the seed line but the higher our WAB, the more they won’t be able to justify us as a 4 seed. If we are 7th in WAB indicating a 2 seed resume, they’ll likely only drop us to a 3 rather than all the way to a 4. If we’re 9th or 10th, they can justify dropping us 1 seed to a 4 due to our NET.

Hard to know, we’ve got a better chance of catching Nebraska in NET as they’re only 2 ahead of us vs Purdue is 4. Couple that with Purdue having H2H on our home court, and seems we’d be safer with higher WAB, higher NET, and no H2H loss. Probably need Purdue to blow them out like you said (and Nebraska had been fading a lot before surviving their last regular season game).
ETA: if we make it to Sunday and Purdue loses tomorrow, we should be ahead of both Nebraska and Purdue in WAB. I do worry what FL might do to our NET on Sunday, though.
