will uncle Bill pull the plug in mid season to see if the interim head coach can spark a little life in the players. Kinda like what Coach O did at USC west

Damn........ I have tried to support Grant, but we cant even field a competitve squad. The hell of it is, he will probably go somewhere else and do well. Why cant we have nice basketball things?

The basketball gods cursed Alabama for 3 score and 7 years for firing Wimp.

don't think UT hires him...He crapped his britches while at UT and I don't think their new AD hires comes near him

All you Bruce Pearl people are nutjobs. Assuming Grant leaves when Pearl is available, there is no way we would hire him!

That dude is stained. Though you may think what he did wasn't a big deal, the fact that he got hammered the way he did, makes him a non factor here.

of all places Bama has to be careful to hire someone who had a show cause. IF the ncaa gives battle their blesses then I am sure they would consider him

and you don't see a difference..just saying..MS's was never a head coach at any level. Wimp has two sons who have been HC's and pretty good from memory. Of course I forgot to hit the sarcasm button but I do believe there would be some excitement with the fan base if a Sanderson came to be the coach. Got to be better then what AG brings to the table.

I think one of his sons flamed out at Lipscomb and the other may still be at Faulkner. I'm not sure.

We have to have the highest percentage of self-righteous fans like ever. So many angels who have never put a foot wrong.

Are you talking about the people who freak out about Pearl? Whatever school hires him will have hit a home run. People are worried him being around would cause problems for football but I think that logic is stupid. I'd hire him in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure our AD would be willing to risk his neck like that this early into his tenure. I just want Battle to be aggressive and put out feelers to whether our donors would give the money to buyout Grant.

Why the effein eff is he under contract until 2019? Please don't let that be correct. Of course, the buyout is what matters. This season is going to end very badly. We will be one of the worst teams in a crappy conference. The SEC used to be pretty awesome in b ball. It's hard to watch.

I wouldn't be excited. Hiring a guy because of his last name would piss me off.

Grant isn't worse than every head coach that you can think of. He's not a bad coach at all, really. He just doesn't seem to be worth what we are paying for him and we could do better.

Alabama is a program that could and should do way better than one tournament in 5 years. It's sad that Grant has changed nothing, especially for 1.9 million. I can't believe the amount of people that still blindly support him.
