I can only assume you just started watching Saban.
He cares because he wants every player to play every single play with full intensity and do their jobs correctly.
It isn't about the numbers on the scoreboard. It's about the damned execution be it the first team or the scout team. That's why he raises hell over a missed assignment that gives up a first down on 3rd and 15 when Bama's up 30 under 2 minutes as he does giving up a trash TD.

Just proved he's the best receiver on the team. Should be the starter. He's going to transfer and be a first round draft pick. Saban not playing him is proof Nick's past his prime.

When did you start watching Saban coached teams? Saban has repeatedly said he does not like to give up points at the end of games ,does not matter how lopsided the game is. Pay attention before mouthing off.
