I’ll get downvoted into oblivion and that’s fine. Big shoulders I can take it. But does anyone find a lot of his takes disingenuous like we didn’t have 17 yrs of his takes and thoughts on CFB. Anyone remember him talking about expanding playoffs diminishing bowl games (which it does) ? Now he’s changed his tune and this 12 team playoff is a great thing. It’s not perfect but it’s great for CFB. Just irritating to see him change his tune because he is employed by ESPN. Part of what made him great was hard takes built on wisdom that people may not want to hear but it was the truth nonetheless. Now we get this version.

Yeah I get it but he’s contradicting statements he’s made in the last couple of years. That’s my point be honest about how you feel. Advocate for change like maybe incorporating the bowl games into the playoff.

Byrne needs to cut the 500k expense check to Nick. Is Bama having to pay for his support at this point?

What support? He advocated that a three loss Georgia was the only team that deserved a shot at the playoffs. I’m not saying cut him loose if what he does at Alabama is worth the money.

JMO he stuck around to try and help Kalen secure as much of the roster as possible since so many were his guys.

Maybe take the 500K and buy McDonald's gift cards for the team in hopes they can cut food expense.
