He is an athlete playing QB Where as the NFL is looking for a QB who is an athlete. Milroe has zero FB IQ and once he sits in for personal interviews and they ask the tough questions I doubt you will see him anywhere close to a first rounder. There is a reason the coaches kept calling those plays as they were afraid of what he would do if he had to throw it.

Totally agree. When he takes the Wunderlich test it will explain a lot.

Yeah I don't think I saw anyone defending him this time.

At least on here. Still plenty of Milroe defenders on other Bama boards. Never understood why some people are so firm on defending him constantly

I think that he has family members and some of his NIL handlers who troll sites. That’s the only explanation that I have as to why someone would defend him. I got brutally attacked by his defenders on BOL. Tim Watts chose to punish me and not them when I fought back.

The fact DeBoer is Milroe's bitch is the most depressing thing because of what it says about the guy we're paying $10 million a year.

He can’t have that many family and friends. I think it’s the sunshine pumpers. This board (and Tigerdroppings as a whole) has far fewer people like that

I think it has less to do with people defending Milroe and more to do you make posts sounding like an unhinged conspiracy theorist.

You really think people are paid to defend Milroe on forums like this? Lol

No defending the guy , but he wasnt that bad in the first half. Lots of drops and some questionable play calling. His worst issue was trying to run sideways/backwards when he had a couple extra yards running north south. It also seems pretty much guaranteed that he is going to keep it on any sort of option play.

The first int was a poorly placed ball, but 6 has to get at least a chip on the db. Also seems like a dumb thing to make that throw after play action. 2 had to basically stand there. Second int was just abysmal. Any DC playing Milroe should absolutely zone the shite out of him, because he is going to be good for at least one throw where he doesn’t see a defensive player. Last int was on a batted ball. It is what it is.

We had a series where we were doing straight handoff runs with success. Take the decision out of Milroes hands and just have him hand off. Then we had a throw to the TE for a little gain too. We went away from it for a play and had a QB run with no success. Then the series turned to shite.

For the life of me I don’t understand why he stares down the receiver he’s throwing to every time he drops back. LB read his eyes in the pick six last night. Also, some folks were defending him on the screen pick. On those quick screens, we were always told as QB’s “if you see ______ (insert opposing teams color there) tuck it and run”. Those are risky when a DB reads the QB’s eyes and is in a bee line towards the receiver.

Those people were probably the same ones who claimed that he was banged up in the Tennessee game. Constantly blocking and tackling for him even though he sucks. Maybe he was banged up some. But a lot of players are banged up. He just makes poor mental mistakes against good defenses.

They have an agenda. They're still trying to tell you Trey Lance is a sure thing.

No doubt. It’s the definition of political gaslighting. Going back to my original post, to think that Maine scored 14 points against Oklahoma is enough to get Milroe benched the final two games of the season.

Not quite. Now subtract the 83 yards on interception returns.

Would have been 43 yards if he hadn’t tried to trip the Oklahoma defender and actually tackled him.

Greg McElroy would have gotten him on the ground or out of bounds.
