Well even if he doesn’t find his shot…he isn’t make or break player for us, he is a luxury. He was a make or break player for Auburn last year.

Him not panning out didn’t break our backs offensively. Thankfully we had another capable ball handler but yeah missing on him hurt. You sort of expect a 5* with his shooting pedigree to be a game breaking player. He was much more raw than we expected.

He’ll hopefully develop much better being in a rotation for now and not being “the” guy, but the worst case scenario is him bouncing around schools rather than being patient.

I like what ive seen from Aden. His shot will start falling. He looks comfortable out there. To me he is similar to JQ. Streaky shooter, sometimes over-dribbles the ball, not a great on ball defender. But he flashes high level skills as a facilitator and scorer.

But JQ was fearless, sometimes to a fault. Im curious how the Auburn fans view Aden's mentality after last year. AU has a pretty tough group over there, maybe real tough. And i dont think Aden fit in over there. Whether it was mentality or style or whatever, im not sure. But i think he is in a situation now with much less pressure. I could see Oats using him similar to JQ in his last season with us.
