No he would not.

The kid literally made the same mistake Ty made last week throwing into double coverage while ignoring the RB hitting the flat.

Keelon will be the guy NEXT year. He needs time.

PS: FWIW, some guys I know with sources in that AD are saying that Ty is playing with a side injury. That would explain much.

His dad said so on an interview awhile back.

I suspect it’s why they basically took the deep ball out of the playbook like after BY was hurt mid season when BOB was OC because he can’t push the ball accurately that far and I think it’s now impacting his delivery in the intermediate game.

If he was injured he would have sat out yesterday just like Bernard and Brailsford.

There’s hurt and there’s injured.

Ty is hurt and sitting a week isn’t going to fix his issue.

Having a designed run play for him doesn’t help or make any sense if he’s even slightly injured. He’s had plenty of bigger games in which he had zero designed runs but he has one here despite being hurt?

Codename has proven to be an actual insider. He hasn’t said anything about Ty being hurt

It's because Ty Simpson is no more hurt than any other QB in November. Playing through discomfort is a part of this game.

What people are arguing is that he’s hurt enough to notably impact his performance. That goes beyond just simple discomfort.

So what is it? Is he actual hurt which one of the main reasons why his performance has dipped last few games? Or is it a slight discomfort that makes not notable difference in his performance? And why they ran him yesterday up a few scores against an FCS team

There is nothing. People are just making stuff up because that is how they cope when they're overwhelmed
