Bad blow for the #Bengals: Highly touted first-round rookie OL Jonah Williams had left shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum. He’ll likely miss the 2019 season, per the team, but should make a full recovery.

Bengals are going to start avoiding Bama guys. AJ had to miss his rookie season, with a bad shoulder too

The only time I can ever remember one of our players playing when they shouldn’t was when Barron played in the 2010 IB. Other than That I think our medical team takes good care of our players

Williams underwent left shoulder surgery Tuesday to repair a torn labrum that is likely to sideline him for the entire season. He sat out the June 11-13 mandatory minicamp after getting injured the week before in practice.

We've also had numerous players (including this past season) decide to not play through injuries and instead undergo surgery.
And you only think it's Bama in which players play despite an injury? Every year you hear about players, both in CFB and NFL, that actually played through much of the season hurt.
It's hilarious how you guys act the rest of CFB (and I guess NFL teams too) are squeaky clean compared to Bama.

Of course not. Playing through a shoulder injury cost Tre Williams a shot at the NFL.
