Athletic ability probably bought him three extra years on that tops. I remember reading quite a few fans saying his behavior was just because he 'had that dog in him' and wasn't emblematic of a deeper problem.

We went to Hokkaido one night and he was there at one of the tables where the chefs cook. Busy night. His whole party had left and he was still sitting there by himself at the table not leaving nor having any consideration for the people waiting on the table to be cleared. The staff handled it very professionally but his lack of consideration for those around him was evident to me and reinforced some of the rumors about his behavior/attitude. In short, frick that guy.

Meh. Even if he is a shitbag, it's still sad to see a guy gamble away his NFL career in year 1.
