I didn't see the clip at the time it leaked, but I had A LOT of confidence going into the '08 season. I had seen what we were capable of in the arse kicking of UT in '07 with 5+ guys suspended and the game where we pushed LSwho to the brink. I knew if Saban could cut out a few cancers, then we had a legit shot at 10-2 or better.

who all were the cancers from the 2007 team? I remember there being a few guys who weren't buying in but my memory has faded with time

MT. CODY was the first thing that said we are a different team against Clemson...they couldn't run with the those 2 stud RBs because Cody was driving the center 5 yds into the backfield!!

Since we are talking about 2008, I thought about this today. Anyone else remember Shaun Alexander getting interviewed towards the end of the UGA blackout game? He basically predicted the coming dynasty. He couldn’t contain himself when he said he woke up and flew across the country so he could see Alabama’s announce their return.
