Is there no ADay this year and a concert at the stadium is in place of it?

We didn’t do the A day game last year. It was another scrimmage.

That’s right.

We may bring back A-Day now that there's no transfer portal window opening in the Spring.

We took it away to keep from advertising up and coming players to other schools.

That's not an issue now.

The one we did have with DeBoer was not really compelling at all since he didn’t do good on good.

A-Day started going away as coaches didn't want to showcase young players to potentially get poached away. As the other poster mentioned, maybe we will get back to it now that there won't be a portal window post spring.

Maybe we didn’t have enough good to do it

Based on the last two years, probably so.

Also, frankly I think the days of doing a bunch of good on good scrimmage is over because it is too much of a bruises and injuries risk for teams with fairly meager depth at the most injury prone positions at the point of attack.

I have no clue how we get young men ready for big time football without more good on good. My only thought is to advocate for all SEC schools playing their entire OOC in the first three weeks of the season and try to line it up so you get two games of preseason ball against G6 and FCS teams then play the big P5 matchup in week 3.

Figured it was because they didnt want the fans to cringe at the ineptitude.
