I'm not a big fan of Tebow or McElroy.

I don't dislike Tebow. I think he's a great guy and college football player. I just don't like when people promote their politics, religion, etc., during sporting events, whether I agree with them or not. I just think there's a more appropriate time and place for all that stuff.

As for McElroy, I don't dislike him either. He just seems to have a little bit of an inflated opinion of himself, kinda like McCarron. They both had big moments but also benefited a lot from playing with players who were much better than they were.

All that said, I do agree with McElroy. I might not have stated it the same way, though.

I definitely hated Tebow mania. And not because of his outspoken religious beliefs. But because of the nonstop attention ESPN and the media gave him. I also hated Michael Jordan in the 90s, if that tells you anything about me.

I like Greg as a commentator. He well spoken, and obviously intelligent. He's a natural in front of the camera. Tebow, on the other hand, seems to struggle to articulate his point. And the he seemed to have that job only because of his rabid fanbase. His talking points consist of generic sports phrases, like you'd hear in any athlete interview. He doesn't really provide any insight or breakdown the game or a team.

Not comments I would have made. Greg didn't exactly set the NFL on fire.

His job is to give honest analysis though, not bias his commentary based on his performance level as an NFL qb.

And after Tebow was traded to Jets, didn't that get Greg traded to Cincy? and pretty much end his career and get him an injury settlement?
So, could not see any reason that Greg would show any bias toward Tebow.
And would think that Tebow is actually keeping another TE from possibly getting a job as much as Vick kept another QB from getting a chance when he joined the Eagles after spending 21 months in prison for his involvement in dog fighting
Tebow on the Jags will create tons of pub and probably ticket sales... he is a hometown boy
Workin' hard to get his fill
he just wants a thrill
Playin' anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
maybe he will win
maybe he will lose
can't believe he was born to sing the blues
This movie never ends
It goes on and on, and on, and on
