Honestly we can't judge the O against our D...cuz it is probably the best defense in the country.

Could see him being the Star if he keeps it up. Saban mentioned Anthony Averett today too, and I think he was listed as being with the 1s over Tony Brown a bit this week. Hmm...

I wonder why Kendall Sheffield is getting no praise?

Saban said the other day (or not so slyly implied) that Sheffield wasn't coming along as quickly as Minkah.
Keep in mind they weren't EEs, so doing what Minkah is doing is nothing shy of incredible.

I get that but Sheffield played against way better HS competition and looked like in highlights he was like glue in man to man coverage. Fitzpatrick was an obvious 5 star himself but he was playing against a bunch of Yankee scrubs, he is just bigger and more physical than Sheffield. Fitzpatrick's body type and style reminds me of Patrick Peterson. Tony brown reminds me of dre Kirkpatrick. Marlon Humphrey reminds me of milliner.

God help opposing offense if TB, MH, MF, and KS are all on the field together at some point in the coming years.

Last thought for now: For Saban to say Minkah Fitzpatrick is really really good is a big deal for a true freshman.

Reading between the lines on Saban's "QB doesn't need to win the game" line. That tells me he knows this defense is real good and...

Saban: Offense got better as the scrimmage went on, gained confidence. QB no one really stood out. Still want someone to take bull by horns

It really sounds like Blake Barnett has as good of a chance at starting as Coker and Cornwell.
Posted on 8/15/15 at 6:35 pm to alabamabuckeye
I've read somewhere that Barnett had 3 or 4 INTs.

I wonder how many the other two had
