And SCOTUS refused to take up the case. So yeah, he fricking lost. Anyone who didn't sit stoned through US civics class in high school grasps that.

Funny now that a position you argued passionately about you suddenly don't give a frick about once you've been proven wrong.

That's what the rest of us call "saving face."

Bingo! Something no one wants to consider when they dive down the age restriction rabbit hole - the current players in the NFL are part of that CBA that determines rules like this. It's in their best interest to keep the age restriction in place, thus limiting the general population of eligible players.
