Can’t say I’m surprised. Dude needs mental help IMO.

Wow, he’s got some serious issues. I hope someone can get through to him

No one will get through to him until he wants to be gotten through to, and he doesn't seem very interested in that. If he can't survive at a place like Houston then he has no chance elsewhere.

Yea, if you can’t play for Houston’s coach, I don’t know where you can play.

At this point the only places he could go are JuCos. I suspect he will land somewhere in Kansas or Mississippi this upcoming season. I hope it is wherever they film Last Chance U this fall just because I am morbidly curious about how crazy he actually is.

I don't think school of any kind is his cup of tea. May want to go to a developmental league of some sort then try out for a pro teams pro day next yr.
Same things at Bama got him dismissed at UH. Tardiness, not going to class, talking back to coaches, not doing what was asked of a student athlete.
If St Francis wasn't such a good pipeline for talent their coaches would get chewed out for not letting us know about his behavior. Those flaws don't just happen when you walk on a college campus

So what’re all the rumors about what he did at Alabama? Sounds like he was mentally unstable/potentially violent.

100% he is XFL bound. Probably within the next couple of weeks

If that works for him, you'll see more kids go that route unless there's is no oathe to the NFL from the XFL for them

Not all mental illness is the same, but his sounds clinical enough. When you think about it, it's about the worst health issue you can have in life. Our emotions are much stronger than our logic and for some of these people who can't control these feelings, there's nothing they can do about it. The streets are full of folks fighting this battle.

I definitely think he has mental stability issues, but he also seems to be allergic to class. Major college football programs have the resources to deal with damn near every personal or mental issue a player may have, but if he doesn't go to class there is absolutely nothing they can do for him.

JUCO would have been the best thing for him, feel for the kid. You always want someone to succeed, he has to want that for himself also. Hope he can turn it around like Cowan seems to have done at West Virginia.

Ten burning questions for spring football at WVU (247Sports)

8. WILL COWAN BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE AND WILL HE BE A DIFFERENCE MAKER?
If you're feeling deprived of seeing a special talent on the field for WVU, you're not alone. VanDarius Cowan is one of the most promising physical specimens to come through Morgantown, but he's had trouble staying on the field. He got kicked off the team at Alabama, had to sit out his first year at WVU because of transfer rules, got suspended for the first four games of this past year, and then got hurt after just a couple of appearances in a Mountaineer uniform. What he did during that brief time on the field, though, had fans and coaches excited about the future. He truly can be special. The knee injury he suffered might keep him out of the spring, or at least keep him non-contact, per Neal Brown. I'm hoping we get to at least see something out of him, though.

Just because he doesn't like class doesn't mean he has a mental stability issue. How many of y'all are trained psychiatrist or psychologists... AND have had multiple interactions with Anoma? College isn't for everyone, just sucks some kids are forced to play that role while chasing out of class dreams.
One day there'll be an IMG academy like place for guys who only want to go the NFL. If they package it correctly, could be a yuge money maker.
