The teams we've played in the regular season that would match up with us the first weekend we've thoroughly handled with the expection of the one off Ole Miss debacle. The only close games we've played against teams in that #7-10 range were road games at State and Arkansas, and Arkansas was only close for about 45 seconds. The rest have been anywhere between comfortable wins and beat downs.

When we get to the Sweet 16 it's a crap shoot. We've proven we can play with anybody, but our inconsistencies also have proven we can lose to about anyone in that Top 15ish area. If we play our best ball we can win all the games. If we don't we can lose to just about anyone we run into at that point. Playing 4 straight games at the level needed from the S16 on will be difficult given our body of work so far.

Under Oats my expectation is to going into the last week of the season with a chance to win the SEC regular season title and to make at least the sweet 16. So far, so good.

Any specific 3 or 4 seed you’d like to face? One that scares you?

Thanks for the analysis

We’ve been playing good ball recently, results be damned. We keep it up and I see no reason why we can’t make another good run. Especially if March Sears stays hot.

I mean I think I agree with the national consensus that I don't want any part of a solid Pitino team in the tournament. He's that good at what he does. I don't love the idea of having to defend Michigan's bigs and the way they run their screen game. Feels like we'd get abused pretty badly in that. But they've been playing close games for 2 months again bad teams so who knows? Would probably prefer avoiding Purdue. I've watched Texas Tech quite a bit and I think they're very good.

Be very ok with Arizona, Wisconsin, Clemson or A&M/Kentucky. I think I'd be fine with Maryland but their young big is really talented.

Yea, after the emotion of the last 45 seconds and the general vomit feeling of losing to Tennessee there were certainly some good signs. We're at 5 straight halves in a row of playing solid defensive basketball. Not perfect, but at the level we can and need to be at.

Think it'd be good for everyone to find a way to win Wednesday.

Last 6 weeks we've played very good ball

And since the Mizzou game we've been excellent

So the NCAA tournament will seem easy.
