the first #1 WR class was a bust.. only Brooks has made an impact, Earle has been hurt, Leary isn't good and Hall is gone. That is why Saban brought in so many WR's last year.
Anderson, Bond and Prentice hopefully turn into the next Jeudy, Smitty and Waddle

I think BoB is gone anyway. I’ll say this unless you can make a sure hire that definitely improves your defense or offense why change? You can’t change unless you’ve got someone in mind. Honestly only name out there that would get me excited at this point is Pruitt.

Wasn't Tosh Lupoi DC in 2018?
You are correct. But Golding was co-DC and was supposedly calling the defense in the second half of the season. So I reckon I didn’t view that as hiring a new DC in 2019.

No one is asking any current WR to be Ruggs, Jeudy, Waddell, or Smith. No one! But, our last two WR classes were the last two consecutive #1 WR groups. And, no one from these two groups is beyond a role player at this point? This would be acceptable at another program but not at Alabama. Wiggins is either misevaluating the WRs he's recruiting and/or he's not developing that talent once it gets on campus. Either way Wiggins' job should be in question.
Exactly this, we can't ask for a trio like that again, we may never see that much talent in the WR room again for quite a while. However, it's almost inexcusable that at a program like Alabama that puts so many WRS in the league now, we're having to rely on so many transfers and not seeing the development of the guys we already have.
Our leader in receptions this year is a transfer RB. We have another guy starting from UGA and he hasn't shown much. We're apparently waiting on Harrell to get back for our group to really flash but he's another transfer.
It's a very uneasy feeling that we're not getting more production out of the guys that have been recruited. This isn't even mentioning the miscommunication, drops (we lead the country in btw), and dumb penalties.
