I was saying he was likely going to stay for playoffs.

I don't know David well. I've barely even talked to the guy, but from what I've seen/heard "drinking problem" is harsh. He's no alcoholic. If he has a drinking problem, then so do the vast majority of my college friends.

Honestly people are being way too harsh on these guys. I've never heard anything but good things about Cornwell and Bateman as people, and they don't owe any of y'all a damn thing.

I don't think anyone has been harsh on them.

To be fair, the vast majority of your college friends probably do have drinking problems, clinically speaking.

There's a thread that says frick these guys right below this. Earlier in this thread someone implied Cornwell doesn't have "decency."

I agree the majority of the comments are fair. Also, I don't know anything about the story boz told, but boz is generally right from what I've seen.

I consider drinking more of a solution rather than a problem.

Ok so lets all chill.

Aaron Suttles? @AaronSuttles
Cooper Bateman & David Cornwell were both at the facility working out today and both are expected to start practice with the team next week.

All they have done is declare nothing more. Bateman is staying through playoffs Cornwell should too but whatever. And to address drinking problem, he drinks and does stupid things that create problems for him. I didn't want to be rude to him just the facts.

It's a fan driven forum. Sometimes people over react or talk out of frustration. It happens, but our mods deal with people pretty quick when they step over the line.

As far as the decency comment, I would guess this is about finishing the year. Transferring players don't owe fans shite, but they owe their teammates the respect to finish what they started.

Fair enough. I agree with the teammates perspective. If they think leaving earlier helps them moving forward, I think it's hard to blame them though. These guys' futures likely depend on the next year or two.

Sounds like both might be here through the playoffs anyways now, so much to do about nothing I guess

I definitely dont have a problem with anyone transferring if that's what's best, but just wait till the season is over.
I hope they stay, just for their teammates

That'd be too dangerous...might get ejected for targeting a tackler.
