As Pat Dye once said, hind sight is 50/50? I think Coach Superior also said that.

We’re going to look back on 2021-22 one day and wring our hands at the opportunity we had to build a new multi purpose arena, but drug our feet and let it slip away.
I'm going to disagree here, because if we committed a bunch of money to a new arena before the courts let loose the NIL beast (which is functionally now pay for play), we might not have been able to assemble the rosters we have the last couple seasons, arguably the best two seasons in program history.

Nearly all our other sports have first class facilities but our championship caliber men’s basketball team plays inside an ugly dinosaur.
Our men's basketball facilities are really good, and are about to be as good as anyone's in the country. The guys spend most of their time in the practice/film facilities, and we're building an all-new facility for them. That's what players care about.

Yea I get the complaints about Coleman from a fan’s perspective. How much time do you spend there? How about the players and coaches? Who cares if it looks like an airport? Make that part of the mystic
