His record currently stands at a remarkable 149-21. A win on Saturday would push his winning percentage to 87.7%.

Keep on enjoying this run, gentlemen. Good things never last.

Still vividly remember that early January 2007 day Mal flew him in from Miami to Tuscaloosa airport, swarmed by Bama fans like a rock star, hugs & kisses. I listen to the press conference at my job, had a cocky Tennessee fan nearby & I told him y'alls run against us is about to come to an end. He laughed & said we'll own Saban at Bama like we have the other clowns. We all know how thats worked out. 12 years goes by fast when your winning championships & having fun.

At this rate, he could legitimately match Coach Bryant in wins at Alabama by 2026. That’s 232 wins.

When he came, I hoped for five years, two SEC championships, and a national championship. I'd have taken that and been happy to have had it.

Does the record include the vacated wins in 2007?
