Just an idea: Alabama needs to see if the price is right for Jaden Baugh in the transfer portal

i wonder how much of the NIL money goes to QBs. The qb room is going to be stacked.

That's probably the reason guys like Milroe and likely Simpson this winter are politely told to look to the draft or somewhere else.

Milroe had to go either way. He was who he was he. His game would never change as far as passing. I know them having to run that many run plays hurt the staff soul.

Nah, Ty is projected as a first round NFL pick. He’s got his degree and really has nothing left to prove. You can pretty much guarantee he’s gone and I don’t blame him.
Gonna be very interesting to see the QB competition next Spring. It’ll be even more interesting if both Thomalla and Kawa also participate in Spring drills.

Which team is which? Assuming the team that lost doesn’t have any suspensions because their season is finished, so does that mean no repercussions for them at all?

Gainesville is in white. They were winning the game 42-0 at the time of the brawl.
We have two commitments from Gainesville that did not participate in the melee, but they were initially suspended by the GHSA. They were re-instated yesterday.

They received a postseason ban for 2026.

To lose almost 40 guys to suspension in that situation is pretty brutal. I get protecting your teammate and all, but letting a team you are skull dragging coax you into that sucks balls. The dude from the blue team that ripped off helmets and threw punches instigating the whole thing needs some specific penalty going into next season if he isn’t a senior.

The offensive lineman charging down the length of the field to blindside a defenseless person should be facing criminal punishment.
