Does anyone here pay for ESPN+? I'm curious to know what this article says:

Five-star Hot Board: Who's solid and who's still looking?

quote:

There are several five-star prospects who plan on signing early in the December signing period, which is only a few weeks away. It's down to crunch time for those recruits, some of whom are already committed but looking elsewhere.

Here's a look at some of the five-stars who will sign early and where they are likely headed once they announce their final decisions.

The rest is behind a paywall.

As TideSaint posted about rumors of Keon Zipperer committing to LSU, ESPN is now reporting it

According to their peeps he has not. They are saying the local ESPN affiliate took his tweet about OVing to mean he committed.

Jeremy Pruitt will meet with Dan Enos this morning, according to this tweet. I'd hate to lose Enos.

Freeze seems to be Pruit's top choice. From everything out there Enos might be the last option on that list.

Enos meeting with Pruitt hardly means he's likely to take the OC job there if offered. I've seen insider chatter that if Locks leaves Enos may elevate to OC with Gattis elevating to a bigger role as Co-OC.

Kevin Hagan (who's close to a staff member) said that Enos was next OC if Locks leaves. Said respect between Enos and Saban was mutual and extreme.

Having said that, if Locks doesn't leave, don't know if Enos would turn down a promotion to stay.

Locks was spotted on a flight to Baltimore this morning. It seems fairly likely he might take the Maryland HC job. I've seen stuff from credible sources ranging from Maryland being his dream job to him being so happy at UA that Maryland would have to make him a guaranteed offer he couldn't refuse to get him.

LINK ]Blue-chip RB MarShawn Lloyd to play in '20 Polynesian Bowl (247Sports)

quote:

Add another blue chip prospect from the Washington, D.C., area to the already-loaded 2020 Polynesian Bowl, which is played in Hawaii.

Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha’s MarShawn Lloyd, who is the No. 4 running back in the 247 Sports Composite in the 2020 class, gave his commitment to play in the game, and he is excited about it.

“It seems like a really amazing event,” the 5-foot-10, 210-pound Lloyd said. “I’ve seen people now in college who played in it, and it seems like a really good experience. I’ve never been there before, so being able to go there should be a very good experience.”

The Polynesian Bowl first kicked off in 2017, and it already has morphed into one of the top all-star games for high school seniors in the nation.

With the decision, Lloyd joins other area high-level prospects Rakim Jarrett and Mekhail Sherman of Washington (D.C.) St. John’s and Chris Tyree of Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale to commit to play in the game.

“It’s amazing having all those future Division I athletes play in one game, and to get to be around them for a whole week is crazy,” Lloyd said. “This is a game I really wanted to do because it’s different than every other (high school all-America) bowl game. It’s a different place. Everybody just doesn’t go to Hawaii for a football game. “I’ve been to Florida before. I’ve been to Texas before. This is really different.”

One of the things each prospect brings up when discussing their interest in the game is learning more about the Polynesian culture, and Lloyd is one of them. When he thinks about it, one thing pops into his mind quickly.

“I think about a lot of dancing,” Lloyd said. “I’ve watched many Hawaiian dancing videos, so that is something that comes to mind when it comes to Hawaii. I like to do different things. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, so to be able to go there and experience different things is really good.”

There are still 13 months before the game, and by then Lloyd’s recruitment could be over. However, right now it is just starting despite a lengthy offer list.

With DeMatha’s season over, Lloyd is now focused on it as he begins to map out a visit schedule.

His offer list includes Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Texas, USC and Virginia Tech, but he has not made many unofficial visits yet.

“My mom and I have been going down the list, and we are going to visit pretty much everywhere because we don’t know much about the colleges,” Lloyd said. “We want to go there and visit and see how everything is.

“I believe we are visiting Georgia in January. I’ve been to Penn State, but that’s the only place I’ve been.”

Saban and Key saw Clay Webb this morning. He plans to announce a decision between Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia on December 10.

Gattis and Kuligowski are in New Jersey seeing Antonio Alfano. Maybe they'll see John Metchie again too.

Lupoi is in the Birmingham area seeing DJ Dale, 2020 Auburn commit Quandarrius Robinson, and 2021 4-star CB Ga'Quincy McKinstry.

Pannunzio is in the Mobile area today seeing Christian Williams at school, but not in-home.

I know Bama is loaded at receiver but I hate that Auburn is gonna land him and landed another stud in Seth Williams last year.
