I really think a tall WR would be a great fit and since we already have jaylen waddle

You're not fooling anyone, Sean. We know you just want Pickens because he's a 5 star

Bama would like to take Pickens and Robinson both, but there's probably not room to take two more WRs due to higher priority needs at other positions. Confidence in Pickens qualifying is a consideration too.

ETA: Robinson - "I’d say probably Alabama and Nebraska are right there at the top right now... I just really want to wait it out and see how I feel after all my visits and I can sit down with my family and talk about everything.” He's already OVd Purdue, Michigan, Nebraska and Bama; last one will be KY or tOSU.

I think we can take 28 (3 blueshirts). We have 21 commits, minus Cheney = 20. So that's 8 spots.

Estimate of top priorities (not ordered):
1. RB - Sanders
2. WR - Pickens or Robinson
3. OG - Webb
4. OT - Wright or Neal
5. DL - Sopsher
6. ILB - Dean
7. ILB - To'oto'o
8. OLB/DE - Thibodeaux
9. DB - Dent, Cross, Pola-Gates or Banks

Note: 9 > 8, but if Jarez Parks signed his NLI before the Aug 1, 2017 effective date of the new 25 annual signings limit, we might be able to take a 4th blueshirt (29 total; 9 spots).

Bo Nix has not been playing very well this year.

This sounds like an Auburn board topic.

With completely new receivers, he's beaten two top 4 teams (6A) in the past ten days, and his only loss was to the defending 7A champ. He's played pretty well except for that first game.

We've got Shavers, but I don't know how long it will take him to develop into a regular player. I think he's a redshirt freshman now.

Shavers played last Saturday while Tua wad still on. He was in on the long run to/pass to Ruggs. Thats a positive imo.

Any ideas of who would blueshirt in this class?

He did a damn good job blocking down field too. I didn't know who in the hell he was at first

FWIW, that Reitterman guy says it's not Robinson,Sanders,Thibs.
But he does say we are in the drivers seat for Thibodeaux.
