Hank says Bama wants to land Wright and Neal both and will find a way to fit both in the class, either by greyshirting someone or taking less in another position group.

ETA: CBs Hank is closest to making? Sopsher, Neal and maybe Darnell Wright.

Idk how but they always or at least did have Neal at guard. Him or wright flip on what position, Webb at center, Quick at the other guard and Kight at the right tackle. On paper one of the best sets ever

Interesting mix. Neal has said he's holding off on decision, Sopsher isn't announcing until NSD (I think). I'd like for Wright to commit this weekend.

Wonder why Hank isn't close to CBing Sanders, Hill, or Webb?

Hank doesn't just wait until a player is about to commit before making a CB pick, but he does wait until he is VERY confident the player will commit to the team he's predicting. Tim Watts is the same way. That's why their CB picks matter.

He has CBd them to Bama: Webb on 4/17/17, Sanders on 6/5/18 and Hill on 6/19/18.

ETA: Steve Wiltfong is the opposite. He doesn't hesitate to make CB picks based on the school that a player appears to be high on at that time and then change his pick if momentum swings toward another school

Louisville mod CB’d Khris Bogle to Louisville.
At this point Bogle is probably a back up plan to Thibodeaux. Although we’re not really hurting at OLB.

Thanks. I usually just get my recruiting info from here lately. Used to know a guy in football ops, but he's moved on, and I've not ever paid for BOL. My bad on asking why he hasn't done something that he's already done.

I'm curious if Sopsher actually waits until the real NSD. I wouldn't be surprised if we sign all but 1 or maybe 2 of the guys at early signing day.

Sopsher says he plans to wait until February to sign. Darnell Wright has indicated he'll take his OVs after his FB season and announce at the all-star game he's playing in. I suppose it's possible Wright might sign in December and keep it secret until his all-star game, but he might just wait until February to sign. I think To'oto'o might wait till February, but I think all our other top targets could commit in time to be signed in December. Carlton is the expert on timelines though.

ETA: Reliable LA-based insider on Ish: "Possible December, but this has been over, only threat for a small time was Jimbo...LSU is sitting in 3rd."

That would hurt utk and Pruitt quite a bit if that came to pass.
