Class if filling up fast, think he learned last year about waiting for some guys. Im sure some will have a spot, but he’s not playing around this year. Either your in, our your spot is gone.

John Metchie is playing his senior season in New Jersey.

So we now have 2 of the top 4 in Maryland and New Jersey:

seems more like that sean guy

Where the hell has he been? He was around every day last year when we weren't doing great. He's disappeared since we are kicking arse

That's because he is not a Bama fan, said that last year when he first started posting.

As for this recruiting class RMFT is all that can be said, we have a great shot at 7 out of the top 20. With 20 already committed and 12 of those 20 are in the top 150

I'm starting to believe you. All the Georgia remarks last year makes me wonder if he is a Georgia fan trolling.

People like you are part of me not posting much these days, making accusations about trolling. Sorry but UGA killed it last year. This year it's been bliss, I'm waiting on our top targets to finally pull the trigger to make this class truly epic. Another reason I haven't posted much is because I used to post at work but i got a promotion and my free time is gone. I don't appreciate troll accusations but it comes with the territory. Next post is a copy of the latest edition of our TOP TARGETS board (kept in 2nd post itt). It's now organized by position within the projected number of takes for each subheading -- to better reflect a current "mock class" approximation -- i.e., current Bama leans/takes are intermingled with commits.

Bone mentioned he's still hearing that the most likely number for our class is 28 on the radio yesterday, FYI.

Just playing the "WHAT IF" game for a minute. Let's assume that the number truly is 28. Here's how I'd guess the remaining slots go by position.

Cheney and Turnage leave the class, bringing us to 18 currently. That leaves 10 spots.

WR-1
RB-1
OL-2
DL-2
LB-2
DB-2

That seems most likely, and would bring us to 28. My best guess at who those would be are:

RB-Sanders
WR-1 of Pickens, Milton Wright, or Jameson Williams
OL-Webb and 1 of Wright or Evan Neal
DL-Sopsher and Ika (though some are concerned about Sopsher coming if we already had Dale and Ika in the fold). Other candidates are Leal (tough pull), Pickering (all over the place), Hinton (yes, we're in it, but very tough pull), Tuitele (may not have a spot)
LB- Thibodeaux and Nakobe Dean (if no Thib, then maybe Devonta Lee)
DB- Daxton Hill and Akeem Dent (lots of possibilities)

This is just my best guess right now.

Cheney I understand because we are going to end up signing like 6 other DLinemen, but why do so many people expect Turnage to flip? Just because he's from Mississippi, and staying in Mi$$i$$ippi is just what those kids always end up doing?

That's very close to my best guess at this point too, except I think Devonta Lee might be a take ahead of Milton Wright and Jameson Williams due to his versatility (WR/HB/flex-TE, S or ILB). He's a freak athlete for his size -- fast (4.41/40), quick, fluid, agile, strong, physical, tough... He plays WR and CB very well -- at 6-2, 212 lbs! Should be a great one on either side of the ball. Maybe Turnage will flip we land Hill plus Dent or Stevenson, otherwise I think he'll stay put.

Turnage is a good player. If we get the DBs we're after, I'd imagine (as has been mentioned by many insiders) there would be a mutual parting of the ways. If we struck out on several others, he could stay in the class. Who knows? May not even take Pola-Gates and he looks REALLY REALLY good. It's an insane class. Lots of schools will benefit from us filling up.
