5-star LB Nakobe Dean 6-1/215 (MS) hudl
Dean's weekend Bama visit with his parents was his 1st since February, 5th or so overall. Meeting with coach Saban and getting to spend more time with Tide players were important for them. Thibodeaux and Anoma wouldn't look bad coming off the edge in 2019.
My goodness. Can you even imagine?

Just watched Kamaar Bell's highlights. Wow! I don't think he's going to be a 3* for very long. I know they don't generally rank too many OG prospects really high for whatever reason. But he looks every bit as good as last year's 5* OG Salyer that signed with UGa to me. Perfect frame for an OG (built like a tank with wide shoulders), long arms, violent blocker, and good feet.

Just saw that a Georgia mod put in a foggy CB for Rashad Cheney.

They seem to be a big chippy over a DT they mutually parted ways with.

I looked at their board and he hasn't given an explanation for it. Yet.

Kayvon Thibodeaux says Alabama is his leader according to a VIP article on Rivals. I can't read the whole thing, but I can read the first 3 lines and he says Alabama is the "team to beat."

Can someone with a Rivals account please summarize this article for the rest of us?

Alabama closing in on Peach State lineman
quote:>>> _-star OG Kamaar Bell 6-3/330 (GA) hudl
Kamaar Bell, offensive guard from Colquitt County High School in Moultrie. Georgia, has gone from an unknown to receiving an offer from the University of Alabama in the last 24 hours. Bell did not have any scholarship offers prior to the visit to Tuscaloosa on Saturday with his head coach, Rush Propst.
"I made a scheduled phone call to Nick Saban (on Sunday)," Bell said. "He told me about the facility and how it's gong to be when I come down there.
"There is no doubt I am going to commit to Roll Tide. They are a winning team, and I come from a winning team. Once I get right in school and get everything situated I am going to commit."
Bell has his mind set on joining Alabama's recruiting class. He enjoyed the unofficial visit. "I really loved the visit," he said. "I really felt welcomed there. I’m really ready to start playing for them now.
"I loved the scrimmage. I like how everyone was out there just having fun, and I really like the character of some of the players. I like No. 99 (Raekwon Davis), and No. 66 (Lester Cotton). They really stood out to me."
"I like the offensive line coach (Brent Key)," Bell said. "He is a great coach. I love his energy. I really like the nutrition (program), the weight room, the facilities, the coaches. I like everything."
The 6-foot-3, 328-pound lineman is recruited as a guard or center by Alabama.

ETA: Reading that quote again leads me to believe he has potential grade issues.

That's the way I took it. It could explain the lack of a rating and offers. Hopefully Bama's offer (contingent) has put fire in his belly to buckle down on his academics.

Change of plans for Kobe Hudson
Same school as King Mwikuta FWIW.
quote:
Kobe Hudson is one of the premiere 2020 prospects in the country and he was set to announce his commitment Friday April 13, but he has decided to push that decision back.
The 6-foot-1, 183 pound playmaker out of Lagrange (Ga.) Troup County was planning to visit Florida State last week during spring break, but wasn't able to make it due to a family vacation.
He is now planning to visit Florida State and Georgia before he makes his decision. He is set to visit the Bulldogs April 21 for their spring game and a mid-week visit to Tallahassee is being discussed.
Alabama and Auburn are the two other schools Hudson is still considering and he has visited each school numerous times.
Hudson now plans to announce his decision April 27 at 10am ET at Troup County high school.
He finished 2017 with 896 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. He added an interception pick six on defense.
Same school as King Mwikuta FWIW.

Harris enjoys return trip to T-Town (BOL-VIP)
4-star Ath Christian Harris 6-1/225 (LA) hudl
Harris' weekend Bama visit was his 3rd trip back since his initial Feb 24th Junior Day visit with his mom. This was the 2nd visit for his parents, and his grandpa and cousin came too.
Harris focused on and really enjoyed watching ILBs Wilson and Moses during the scrimmage, and time spent with Saban, Lupoi and Golding. He has become keen on playing ILB and likes Bama's early PT opportunity at ILB.
He isn't naming a leader right now and said he would like to visit at least one or two more big schools (e.g., FSU, TAMU, Texas, UGA) before reaching a decision.
