It looks like Georgia has moved on from Seither.
Where did you hear this? Supposedly Kirby was visiting him this afternoon (in a helicopter).

Pac-12 Spotlight: Top targets as Late Signing Period approaches
quote:
The Late Signing Period is just a week away, and while some teams have already finished their 2019 recruiting class, others still have some very important targets out there. Take a look at each Pac-12 program's top remaining targets.

OREGON - Ishmael Sopsher
The Ducks already have the best recruiting class in the Pac-12 by a wide margin and they’re ranked seventh in the 2019 class but Mario Cristobal and his staff could still have some irons in the fire with only days until National Signing Day. It’s highly unlikely with LSU and Alabama leading the way but Oregon is still pursuing four-star defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher. One thing that could give a team an edge down the stretch is that Sopsher wants to only play in college with his brother, Rodney, who would be coming from junior college.

WASHINGTON - Daniel Heimuli
Like Chris Petersen likes it, Washington was relatively drama-free and signed the vast majority of its class during the early period. There was some interest when four-star Asa Turner decided to reopen his recruitment and he’s down to the Huskies and Notre Dame now with the Irish looking like the team to beat. Washington is very much in the running for four-star linebacker Daniel Heimuli and the Huskies could be considered the team to beat after he had a great visit there recently. Alabama and others are trying to stay in the mix but finishing with Heimuli would be a nice end for Washington’s class.

John Garcia is saying it and a mod on AmericusDawg's site is saying it. Garcia is saying he is Bama bound.

Is it just me, or does Henry To’oto’oto’o’s head look a little too large for his body? Sort of like Josh Brolin or Tyrion Lannister.

Where did you see/hear "Bama bound" from Garcia? Was it on a podcast? I've checked his posts on 247 and his twitter and only found this 1/28 post on BOL: "Quick follow up on Seither, UGA no longer leads. Hearing he was surprised with how much he liked the UA visit and I see it coming down to the SEC title game/recruiting rivals."
Eta: Garcia also posted on 247-UGA's board that he heard buzz in the Tampa area that Kirby and UGA's new TE helicoptered to Seither's HS today. He also said Seither will unofficially visit Penn St this weekend.

Kirby is such a freaking tool. It's like he tries to mimic Saban's life in every way possible. He looks like a freaking clown

Kirby is saving money and time allowing Nick and staff to identify many recruits and then they follow. Kirby will just use the I'm much younger than Nick to his advantage and it will work with some. He has nothing to lose. It's not like today's recruits have a real problem with so called negative recruiting.

GoVols247: Pruitt is visiting Henry To’oto’o and family later tonight, after their visit from Saban.

LINK ]LSU's big day in Amite has arrived (Geaux247)
quote:
The big day has arrived for the LSU football staff in Amite, La.
On Thursday, multiple staff members will spend the entire day making stops not just at Amite High and around the town, but also in-home with two key targets left uncommitted in Louisiana.
Defensive lineman LINK ]Ishmael Sopsher and athlete LINK ]Devonta Lee will both receive in-home visits from the LSU staff after the Tigers spend the day in town.
LSU defensive line coach Dennis Johnson was the first to arrive in Amite on Thursday, where he showed up "before the sun rose", one source in Amite told the Geaux247 staff.
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron and defensive coordinator Dave Aranda were then right behind Johnson as the Tigers make their big push for Sopsher, which will play out over a four-day period given he's set to head to Baton Rouge this weekend for his official visit.
Meanwhile, LSU wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph will lead the offensive staff's charge on Thursday as they spend time in Amite before going in-home with Lee. Orgeron used his one allotted in-home visit with Lee in December

LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Oregon and many more have been involved in recent months with Sopsher, and now the Top 50 prospect will wind down his recruiting process with a final in-home visit before one final official visit this weekend. The same goes for Lee, who has had LSU, Kentucky, Texas A&M and others at the top of his board in recent months.
Alabama assistant Pete Golding was in-home with Sopsher on Monday, and head coach Nick Saban used his one in-home visit last week ahead of the Sopsher family's visit to Tuscaloosa last weekend. That gave the Tide four straight days with Sopsher and his family, while LSU will match that with four straight days with them from Thursday to Sunday.
The NCAA's dead period kicks in on Sunday at midnight, which will end all face-to-face contact between recruits and college coaches.
Once Thursday's all-day visit in Amite is complete, Sopsher and his family and Lee and his family will arrive onto campus in Baton Rouge for a three-day stay, with the Tigers landing the final official visit for both of the Amite High prospects. Both visits will begin on Friday and end on Sunday.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball favors LSU for both prospects, with the Tigers holding 62-percent of the predictions on Sopsher (Alabama at 33-percent) and 95-percent of the predictions on Lee (Alabama at 5-percent).
Could LSU's four-day push be enough to reel in both prospects, giving the Tigers two more Top 10 players from Louisiana and Top 200 prospects nationally?
Stay tuned to Geaux247 for full coverage of their in-home visits, official visit and upcoming decisions. Both Sopsher and Lee plan to announce a college decision from Amite High on Wednesday.
