He had the skillset to play outside. He bulked up and we still needed him outside and he didn't have the explosion. The point we are making is that Alfano can be an elite rush end for us, no point in bulking him up for no reason.
Where did i try to argue against the point of Alfano putting to much weight on. Hand was 260/270 coming out of highschool. He was going to gain weight naturally so the whole him playing outside thing was never going to happen. Alfano is going to put on more weight and play inside as well. I cant think of a kid who has came in at 260 who has been used as an outside pass rusher.

I really dont understand some of those player drops like Pickering. Make top ten on the week of the practices everyday but Jordan Battle gets dropped lol.

The LSU RB is losing their minds over Kardell getting dropped and Harris now rising over starks

Signed on ESD.
Think it has to be Adam Chaney, with I guess all getting some facetime in with a potential 3 star mac jones type in the QB (brett nezat) there.

Saban is visiting some Mobile area HSs, since he's there for Senior Bowl practice. Rashawn McAlpine and Adam Chaney are recruits I've seen mentioned.

Any clue why rashawn hasn't got a rank? I know that he has some buzz locally.

Alabama fans, and for that matter college football recruiting followers in general, should get to know 2020 running back Rashawn McAlpine.
The Saraland (Ala.) product has rushed for 1,375 yards and 14 touchdowns on 94 carries this season, helping the Spartans to a perfect 8-0 record thus far.
“You know, Rashawn has done a really good job,” Saraland head coach Jeff Kelly told BamaOnLine. “He’s put up some big numbers, especially early in the year. He’s been consistent, he’s run the ball really hard, he’s done what we’ve asked him to do. He’s worked really hard through the offseason to get ready. He’s been an explosive guy for us this year, he’s been a big-play guy for us and he’s done it against some good people.”
After battling injuries his sophomore season, McAlpine has entered 2018 ready to take the next step in his development.
“He runs with a physical nature about him,” Kelly said. “He breaks a lot of tackles. Usually the first guy has trouble getting him down. His vision, I think, is an attribute that allows him to see the cutback, gives him an opportunity to have some big plays there. What he can improve on, like everybody, is just continue to work and be consistent like he does. I think if he does that he’ll be fine.”
Alabama and Auburn, as well as others, have taken notice of the rising ball carrier. Kelly anticipates big things for the junior running back if he keeps it up. That shouldn’t be an issue, though, as McAlpine takes care of business on and off the field.
“He’s definitely on the radar of all those schools,” Kelly said. “Towards the end of the season, after the season, after the Early Signing Period, I could see him really being a guy that a lot of schools really evaluate and extend opportunities to. We’ll just see how it plays out.”
Saraland takes it undefeated record to Blount this upcoming Friday.

So far, we have 5 in-state 2020 commits and two more guys that appear to be 2020 top targets:
WR JJ Evans and DB/QB Kristian Story

It looks like the Composite is already reflecting the updated Top247. Our total class score barely changed. It was 317.39 and is now 317.35. It sounds like 247Sports will be updating their #248 and above rankings by next week. But that can't impact our class score very much, since 23 of our 28 commits are in the Top247.

I predict we end up with a score of 322.##.
The last two numbers will depend on the final rankings.
