Ranking the Top 50 Early CFB Recruiting Signees
quote:
February's edition of national signing day will place the spotlight on unbound players, and those talented athletes deserve every moment of attention.
The college football world, however, should be careful not to stare at the shiny objects in front of them.
During the early signing period last month, a majority of the top-rated prospects locked in their college choices. The paperwork is finalized, and a good number of them have already enrolled. They still merit another look as Feb. 6's NSD approaches.
The rankings factor in expert opinions of the 247Sports composite but include adjustments from personal observation.

Can Williams blueshirt if he doesn't take a OV?
Posted on 1/23/19 at 9:35 am to remaster916
Blueshirts must be nonrecruited -- (1) No pre-arranged off-campus encounters with coaches, (2) No official visit, and (3) No NLI.

Keilan Robinson, a 4-Star running back, was verbally committed to the Tide during the early signing period, but decided to hold off his signing. His commitment doesn’t look like it has wavered and he looks to be the Tide’s second 2019 running back signee as Saban and company has not gotten a commitment for any other back in the class.

With the numbers game and emergence of a TE need/targeted recruit (whose film actually looks really good), does it appears Williams will be the odd one out?

Why would he blueshirt when he can get a scholarship to other good schools?
He's a corner boy a kicker or legscy QB lol. Jarez Parks situations are not the norm.

Blueshirt and greyshirt are different.
Blueshirts join the team in August and are put on scholarship when school starts.
Greyshirts can not join the team until December during bowl practices and are put on scholarship in January of the following year.

I really hope that we don't bulk Alfano up too much.

Why do so many on this board freak out about any little thing? It's almost like "Well, it's a website that fans of all the teams in the conference post on. We don't want to look like sunshine-pumping homers. So let's wildly overcompensate by being intentionally negative." Sometimes I legitimately think that's the mindset of a handful of posters on here.
I certainly was not freaking out nor was I being negative. Just pointing out a co- incidence to generate some responses like you and a couple of other people made.
That's all. By the way I have no trouble with sunshine pumping homer fans. I love to hear positive things about our team. One reason I pay attention to your posts.
