All of our signees got together for a picture at the UA Game last night:

I don't think Shelley made a 50-yarder in his career. He made a 44-yarder against LSU. He was also 5/7 in that game and missed an XP. He wasn't a very good kicker either if we are being honest.

Sounds like JJ Peterson’s story is setting up to be The Blindside 2.
He was just hepped out by Rush & Jeremy.
They didn’t even know he can play football too!

UA All-America Game: Stock up, stock down for the week
quote:
ORLANDO -- Under Armour All-America week is in the books and now it is time to evaluate who raised or lowered their stock after a week of practices and a competitive game that took place in chilly and sometimes rainy and windy conditions.

STOCK UP
quote:
Nick Petit-Frere
It is hard to draw up a better offensive tackle than Petit-Frere. Not only did he look the part, but he played the part this week. He has great feet to mirror the quick defensive ends and he showed good strength when run blocking too. He is going to add weight and strength, so he will only get better moving forward. He has first-round draft choice written all over him.

Quay Walker
You look at Walker on the hoof and you think college linebacker, not high school. Then you see him play in space, drop in coverage, close on the ball and rush the passer — and you think, what can’t this young man do? He is currently ranked just outside the Rivals100, but he won’t be much longer.

STOCK DOWN
None of our guys made this list, but these two did:
quote:
Emory Jones
It was a tough week for Jones. He really struggled throwing the ball with accuracy from day one. He just could not find a rhythm, he never got into a groove and he held the ball too long often. The conditions were far from ideal much of the time, but the Florida signee did not perform at the level expected.
quote:
Jack West
West had a solid day three, but other than that, he just appeared to be off. His arm strength was not the same as the other quarterbacks and he struggled in the accuracy department. It is never easy for quarterbacks in an environment like this as they work with players they are unfamiliar with, but the Stanford signee had an off week.
We may have dodged a couple bullets here.
