Valid points. That's a big reason I'm on the fence about it. The coaches recruiting in the field might have to bond more than usual with DL recruits in their territories, and the DC and Saban as well. Athough, since Bo would not be on the road recruiting, he would have more time to spend on the phone/skype bonding with DL recruits. It's not ideal, but it might work OK.

I don't want it to come off as I'm hating on Bo, I was a giant supporter after his return from his Texas sabbatical.
And I'm a big Dunbar fan too, partially because he was the Jets DL Coach a few years back. The man can coach circles around other DL Coaches and has the pedigree to prove it, recruiting just has never been something he has done.
He's use to coaching men, not appealing to teenagers. I'm sure it's not easy with vitiligo either, which makes me respect him more. He was the best hire Saban could make on such short notice, but it does have flaws.
Could snag Brick Haley and land the top 2 players in Missouri

That's kind of been our luck this year. Of course, he isn't going to sign today.

IMO no contact should be allowed of any kind starting day before unless the kid initiates it.

We are doing a poor job closing this year with undecided guys on the fence. Smart was that guy for us, thought Tosh would be as well but even he is struggling to close the deal with some of these guys. Disappointing to say the least.
